Michael Ernst – Biography

Michael Ernst, Singer/Songwriter and Producer was born, in vienna. He has already had his first charts successes in the late eighties. He has also received numerous recognitions for his many music-projects in the last ten years. The latest project he did was together with Chris Thompson ( Manfred Mann´s Earth Band) and Alan Parsons (The Alan Parsons Project).

Lorne André Wright – Biography


Singer/Songwriter. Born Lorne André Wright, on November 8th 1975 in Kingston, Jamaica and grew up in Canada, Montreal. He is the youngest of 8 children. The young singer first discovered his love for music while attending a Sunday morning church service. At age 13, André performed for the first time in the O’Brien church of God in Montreal. This was to be the first of many performances. In 1991 at the age of 16, the young singer competed in the Montreal regional teen talent competition where he blew the competition away and claimed first place in two categories (male solo, and best performance by a group). Two years later at the age of 18, he again captured first place with what was said to be his trademark song “The Sparrow.” The young singer was now on his way to the national finals, which was held in San Antonio, Texas (USA).

In 1993 at the age of 18, Andre was now a member of the well established Montreal Mass choir titled: Canadian Friends Choir (CFC). Through CFC, Andre was exposed to the many aspects of the music industry. He has performed with established acts such as established singer Lara Fabien “Leila,” and the critically acclaimed circus (Cirque du Soleil), known throughout the world “Alegria.” In 1996, he was set to become a member in the recognized Montreal group “Reflection.”

In 1997, at the age of 22, the singer auditioned successfully for the hit musical “Rent” in Toronto, Canada for the role of “Angel”.

In 1999, André graduated with honours from Vanier College as a Special Care Counsellor (SCC). He then attended University in the field of psychology. During this time he worked as an Educator for Batshaw Youth and Family Centres. A facility that works on the rehabilitation of children ages 5 to 18. In the same year he also auditioned successfully for an up and coming Canadian group, which was a spin-off from the Famous “Fugees” (USA).

In 2000, he proceeded to also work as a Special Educator for the Telit program in Canada (Montreal). There he worked closely with a speech pathologist for children 3 to 5 yrs old with behavioural and Pervasive Developmental Disability (PDD). During this period he would use music as a learning facility in order to facilitate as well as communicate.

While a student in the dance program at Le Centre Jesuit in Montreal, André’s love for R&B and Pop continued to develop. His impeccable skills and artistry for his love of R&B came shining through in his first demo CD co-produced by Michael Ben productions entitled: “My Destiny.” He then followed that in 2001 with his catchy pop interpretation of a guy who suspects that his girlfriend is cheating on him in “Freak On.” He continues to compose music as he says “that speaks to the mind and body, but most importantly to the soul”.

In the fall of 2001, André relocated to Austria, Vienna and quickly proceeded to work on the winter campaign for the Ski Hassen and the Snow Beach-Party hits lists where he rightfully released “There is no snow in Jamaica.”

At present he continues to work closely with his group member Michael Ernst of “2 Faces.” He has already released two singles with “2 Faces” and is currently working on a third which is said to hit the music market hard! As well, a plan for his complete debut album is currently in the making. He continues to work closely with established music entrepreneurs and singers such as Eddie Cole.
